I make stained glass pictures and suncatchers using the copper-foiling technique, also known as ‘Tiffany-style’.

My glass journey started in a freezing granite studio near Sennen, in February 2017, on a one-day course with Richard Pett, whose work I had admired at a local craft event. And I fell in love. An adult education course in copper-foiling followed and I was away. With the encouragement and support of Cornwall Ceramics & Glass Group, I braved my first exhibition in October 2019 and sold my first picture. I have been exhibiting at The Cowhouse Gallery since February 2022.

As an artist I am inspired by Cornwall’s big skies and constantly changing colours of the ocean . I choose to use glass in a range of colours, textures  and combinations to enable me to capture that sense of awe and wonder. Introducing pebbles collected from the beach adds  another dimension to my work.
